U.S. Privacy Rights

This page is available to everyone and does not depend on GeoIP or country detection. It is written for residents of U.S. states with consumer privacy laws, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, and other states that provide similar rights.

• Know and access — ask what categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share.
• Delete — ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal and security exceptions.
• Correct — ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling — direct us not to use or disclose personal information in those ways.
• Limit sensitive personal information — direct us to use sensitive personal information only for legally permitted purposes, where that right applies.
• Authorized agent — allow another person or registered business entity to submit a request for you, subject to verification.
• Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercise these rights, unless the difference is permitted by law.

BlinkFlix does not sell personal information for money. We also configure rewarded advertising as non-personalized where supported, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

If you still submit a Do Not Sell or Share request, we store that preference and use it as a guardrail for advertising, analytics, and future sharing paths tied to your visitor or account.

If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, BlinkFlix treats it as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for that visitor/account. Our backend observes the `Sec-GPC: 1` request header where the browser sends it and records the opt-out preference.

In the app

Open Settings → Privacy & data. You can export data, delete your account, and manage privacy choices where available.

On the web

In the BlinkFlix web player, open Account → Privacy & data (available to anonymous visitors and signed-in accounts).

By email

Email dsr@blinkflix.tv from your registered address. If you use an authorized agent, include proof of authorization and enough information for us to verify the request.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling access, deletion, correction, or agent requests. We do not require account creation for Do Not Sell or Share requests.

BlinkFlix does not intentionally collect precise location, government identifiers, health data, biometrics for identification, contacts, or similar sensitive categories. We use account credentials, payment records, and security signals only to provide the service, protect accounts, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.

Recommendations and ranking may use watch activity and engagement signals to order stories. We do not use automated decision-making to produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
